Brimwood United JFC was founded in 1978 and is based in the Chesterfield area. The name originates from the local villages of Brimington and Hollingwood. The club has been a member of the GT League, the Shaun Morris League, the Sheffield and District Junior Sunday League and currently has teams in the Rowsley & District Junior Football League and the Mansfield Chad League.
The club achieved the FA Charter Standard Award in March 2009.
